Tummy Time Pays Off!

Still smiling after the tummy time!

Ummm, did somebody put me in DKNY lounge pants? They are so comfy I fell right asleep!

Brimfield

We were supposed to be at a Crummy wedding this weekend, but were grounded instead. Turning lemons into lemonade, we drove out to Brimfield, the thrice yearly massive antique market. Ben and Elliot were less interested in all the wares and more interested in the food. We had been there for 90 minutes and thus far only accomplished, feeding Elliot in the parking lot for 45 minutes, and then feeding her papa - who went to all of the following stands within the next 45 minutes. Food coma immediately set in and we were only able to cover 1 of the 40 acres and needed to head home to nap!

First stop: Egg & Corned Beef Hash Breakfast Burrito (Above) followed by Ice Tea below.

Then, soft serve! Ben recalled how he injured himself on soft serve last time he visited Old Country Buffet, ahh the good old days.

We passed on the Kettle Korn, sampled some fudge we meant to go back and buy and then moved on to the featured food: the pilgrim sandwich. Just read the board.

Finally, a lemonade before we could shop. This is Elliot's blog, right? That is her, abandoned on the side of the road for a lemonade stand. We don't mean to leave her in her car seat all the time, but she slept through all of Brimfield. Only to wake up in the parking lot for food before we headed home.

"Glosta"

We went up to Gloucester for the Schooner Festival with ChaCha & her folks. It was full on extreme fall weather! Her is the scraggly sea kitty mascot of the harbor.

Ben, Mindy & Chris check out Bluenose II on deck.

Elliot & I watched from the pier (Elliot slept through the whole trip)

The Globe said "food festival featuring Lobsta Love." It was one card table of caterer blowing in the wind...luckily they served chowda & lobster rolls to make us feel seaworthy. Here we are at the rock picnic tables.

Dress Up Again!

With the VMAs and Teen Choice Awards behind us, Elliot wanted to step up her strict wardrobe of Onesies. Her are a few of her outfits this week - the fluctuating weather certainly helps us mix it up around here. And, since most of these clothes are gifts - (you know who you are!) We thought you might like to see them too.

Do these bloomers make my legs look skinny?

This is really Ben, dressed up like Sonny, wearing one of Cher's outfits - adorable! We are taking her out on the town in this one tonight.

This Onesie is the cat's meow with my everyday pink ruffle pants and stylin' kicks. I didn't start off in this outfit, it evolved throughout the day as I explored various ways to fill my hamper and make Mommy try new outfits.

Here we have replaced Elliot with an American Girl doll - you'll be seeing more of this dress soon. Its traveling with us to CA.

Oh No! Winter is coming and Mommy is going to dress her up all winter in animal hats! Buzzy Buzzy Bee. Ellie is not thrilled.

Elliot in her karate outfit with mary jane's...staring at her FAVORITE picture/object - the photo copy of black squares taped to the wall. You may have noticed that any photos taken on her changing table have her staring off to the side. Its because she will not take her eyes off of the fabulous work of art. It makes her quiet. It makes her smile. It makes her supremely giddy. If anything happens to this picture, we'll need a fax sent, pronto!
