Daddy & Sam's Turn.

Touch-A-Truck

Ellie got new wellies, but she refuses to wear them, only Mommy's...and she looks like Dorf on Farm.

Last weekend we went to the greatest free fest ever: Touch a Truck. In a parking lot in Charlestown, trucks of every kind were parked and open for kids to crawl through. Our ears ringing, we crawled through many of them - of course the most fun thing to do in a truck is honk the horn. Poor Samantha trying to sleep in her carrier kept jumping awake at all the honks and sirens. Elliot was very into all the "Trucks!" ...Truck pictures on their way (grrr) here are some to tide you over.

Sam is super smiley.

Guess who found her hands this week?

Watching for Trucks on the bench-I-mean-pew and playing footsie.

Super Sammy Sammerton Plays with Ellie

Look at that neck strength! And she just finished a round of smiles, so maybe we will catch them next time.

Hanging in the crib looked too fun for Elliot to leave her there alone.

Oh yeah, she is rocking Tummy Time above after joining Mommy's yoga class below:

A look back to Easter. Above on the hunt with friends Gabriel & Lucy. Below, Elliot on the hunt alone on Easter morning.

Sweet Sam

Sorry so long between posts. Seems that I am batch posting these days, so if you are trying to keep up, make sure you also check out Anything You Can Do & April Fools b/c I posted those tonight too.

Seems we are lacking some Sam photos by comparison, so here's your fill for now:
Pretty in Pink

Easter Smiles, sort of.

Ok. What is with baby clothes? The little bloomers that come with dresses for the girls, which we affectionately call "butt pants" are never so little. Honestly. Those are the butt pants that came with the tiny dress Samantha wore. Come on! Those would fit me. And it is not just this dress. I think we could devote a whole blog to this phenomenon!

Quieter times: Sleeping with Auntie Kassi.

At Mom & Baby Yoga

At the cardiologist having an ultrasound of her heart. We had the same technician as the one on the labor floor when they diagnosed her VSD, and she said she remembered Sam b/c of all her hair. Sam is gaining good weight, which is a good sign for her murmur - so we are rooting for a fatso! We have to continue to monitor her, but weight gain seems to indicate we are moving in the right direction. She's a tiny little trouper!

Anything You Can Do, I Can Do

Guess who else loves the Moby Wrap?? There's a lot of sling-envy going on in our house now. We are trying to accommodate.

They both look pregnant!

Samantha is peaceful in her swing...

Not to be outdone, Elliot gives it a whirl. If only she had liked it this much when she was Sam's size!

Elliot is a great helper with Samantha's baths...

but saves the party smiles for group tub time with Alex & Zoe after a zany dinner with them.

Here we colored Easter Eggs with Mindy & Charlie (& Chris & Ben, but they talked baseball draft for most of it). Charlie endured yet another round of Ring Around the Rosie with Ellie.

Ellie tries to out shoe-shop Auntie Kassi from her prior trip.

Elliot practices Tummy Time lessons with her baby (that's not Sam).

This is Sam.

Elliot was found diapering her doll. This wouldn't be so bad if she were not on the changing table that she climbed herself. Where are her parents when she does this stuff??

Yeah, that is how we found her.
