How can I make this vine grow FASTER to cover this whole cement wall? Miracle Grow? Plant more? Did not "plant" these - twist tied some long ones from the right to the roof on the left...any suggestions? Will remove this post soon...
Is this boston ivy. If so, it prefers the north side (more shade). You could add a relative, Engelmani Ivy (5 leaf quinquefolia). This ivy clings to concrete well, can handle more sun, will grow up or down. I would suggest adding a climatis - Sweet Autumn- blooms in late September, fast grower, great flower and fragrance, looks like an evergreen for a while after it flowers till heavy cold sets in. Very hardy, but will need a trellis. (Pick up a section of old wrought iron fence from wherever).
Btw; Suck in that belly so your back wont hurt as much.
